These two! I had the BEST time going to a few of my favorite local spots in Palos Verdes with them. I love going into engagement sessions after only interacting over email and finding out that they are just like old friends! We laughed and chatted throughout the whole session and Katelyn changed into three amazing outfits! I loved her blue floral print dress SO much, that I out myself on the waitlist to ben notified when it’s back in stock! One of my favorite engagements to date :).

Here are some of the ones I especially love from their two hour session!

Brandon and Jessie’s engagement session was such a refreshing reminder as to why I LOVE my job so much! We basically spent the hour just hanging out, laughing, and fooling around. As soon as you let loose and just decide to be silly and have fun, you add so much more life and realness to your photos. It makes for the BEST sessions and shows off your dynamic as a couple and individual personalities.

I like to remind my couples at the beginning of the session that there is zero need to be nervous! I’ve had people email me worrying that they aren’t cute or candid enough compared to the other photos they’ve seen me share, which always makes me laugh! I promise that I walk you through all the poses and technical aspects of your session, so if you just come relaxed and willing to goof around, we are good to go 😎.

Here are some of my favs from their session!

I had a blast exploring around one of the prettiest beaches with these two! I’m all about adventurous couples who are willing to get a little down and dirty for epic photos, and Yula and Josh fit that bill perfectly ;). Right when we met Yula asked if I’d be willing to take photos of them IN the water, and I was like HECK YES!

We managed to climb/squeeze through some narrow rock formations to find the most perfect private beach with the cleanest sand + bluest water.

Enjoy some of my favorites from their session!

One of my absolute favorite things to do is to pour into other photographers and help them on their photography journey. I totally get it. Breaking into the photography world can feel frustrating and daunting! I remember first starting out and just feeling so overwhelmed by all the different aspects that come with running your own business. I just wanted clear direction when it came to bookkeeping, inquiries, contract, retainer fees, social media, pricing, booking, camera bodies and lenses, camera settings, posing and directing, working with natural light, editing and workflow, gallery deliveries, etc etc.

I started portrait photography for fun less than two years ago as a biology student in college and shot my first wedding in January of 2016. That same year I had 22 weddings fill up my calendar, along with numerous portrait and engagement sessions after lots of hard work and trial and error. I was able to graduate school and go full-time with my business! My goal is to teach you everything I wish I had known sooner, as well as what worked for me and what didn’t so you can grow your business quickly and confidently!

My mentoring sessions are meant to kickstart your business, help you never be afraid of posing or directing clients, nail down your editing style, get your ideal client booking you, vamp up your social media presence, and so much more. I share with you exactly what tools I use for every portion of my business, saving you time and headaches!

Allie + Daniel’s wedding day was a blast! The day started with me meeting her for the first time in person and ended with me dancing to Dynamite hand-in-hand with Allie and her friends, screaming the lyrics to a Zac Brown Band song with them, and Daniel trying to see if he could set me up with one of his friends haha ;). I love when my clients turn out to be the most awesome people and we click so easily!

We had the most perfect sunny weather and their winery venue was absolutely gorgeous. Allie wore a breathtaking low-back lace dress and I seriously could NOT stop photographing solo shots of her because she just looked so stunning!

Enjoy some of my favorites from the day!
